How is H2Tab different from bottles or machines?Updated 2 hours ago

There are several ways to get molecular hydrogen—here's how H2Tab compares to the most common alternatives.

Hydrogen Concentration

This is the biggest difference—each H2Tab tablet produces up to 12 ppm of dissolved molecular hydrogen. Most hydrogen water bottles produce 1-4 ppm per use, and that number decreases over time as the bottles age. Hydrogen machines vary widely but rarely sustain 12 ppm consistently.

  • H2Tab: Up to 12 ppm, verified by third-party lab testing on every batch
  • Bottles: Typically 1-4 ppm, declining with use
  • Machines: Wide range, high upfront cost, requires ongoing maintenance

Convenience + portability

H2Tab requires no charging, no device, and no maintenance. Drop a tablet into a glass of 12-16 oz of room-temperature still water, wait 90-120 seconds, and drink. A tube of tablets fits in a pocket, gym bag, or carry-on. No cables, no equipment, no TSA concerns.

Cost

H2Tab costs under $1 per tablet. Quality hydrogen water bottles start at $50–$200+. Hydrogen machines range from $500 to several thousand dollars with ongoing filter and maintenance costs.

Bioavailability

H2Tab uses a natural magnesium-acid reaction that releases hydrogen gas directly into the water at high concentration. The dissolved hydrogen is equally bioavailable to hydrogen produced by electrolysis devices.

Purity

H2Tab produces ultra-clean molecular hydrogen with no harmful by-products. Electrolysis devices can introduce trace ozone or chlorine gas as side products depending on the water source and device quality.

Note: To match the hydrogen from one H2Tab tablet using a typical 4 ppm bottle, you would need to drink 5-6 full bottles in rapid succession.
