How long does hydrogen stay in the water after dissolving? copyUpdated 2 hours ago
Timing matters—molecular hydrogen is a gas, and it begins leaving the water as soon as the reaction completes. You can read more about this here: H2Tab The Basics: Timing Matters
The dissolving window
Once dropped into water, an H2Tab tablet typically takes 90 to 120 seconds to fully dissolve, depending on water temperature and volume. Hydrogen concentration continues to build for a few minutes after that, reaching its peak shortly after the tablet finishes dissolving.
How long hydrogen remains active
For maximum benefit, drink within 20 minutes of the tablet fully dissolving. Hydrogen is a gas, and like the carbonation in a freshly opened can of sparkling water, it gradually escapes into the air once released. Potency decreases steadily as time passes, so the sooner you drink it after it dissolves, the more hydrogen you get.
Does anything slow this process down?
Cooler water can slow the dissolve. Room-temperature water triggers the reaction most efficiently, while cold water slows it down and can reduce the hydrogen produced. A covered or partially sealed container can also slow the reaction. For the fastest, most complete reaction, stick with room temperature and an open container.
