What is 12 ppm and does it matter? copyUpdated 2 hours ago

Parts per million (ppm), is the standard way to measure dissolved hydrogen concentration in water. More ppm means more available hydrogen.

What 12 ppm means

Each H2Tab tablet produces up to 12 ppm of dissolved molecular hydrogen, one of the highest concentrations available in any hydrogen product on the market. This figure is independently verified by H2 Analytics, the leading molecular hydrogen testing lab, on every batch.

Why concentration matters

Research on molecular hydrogen suggests that higher concentrations are associated with stronger cellular effects. A higher ppm means more hydrogen gas is available to be absorbed into the bloodstream and delivered to tissues, cells, and organelles before it has a chance to dissipate.

How H2Tab compares

  • H2Tab : Up to 12 ppm, verified on every batch.
  • Bottles: Typically 1 to 4 ppm, declining with each use.
  • Machines: Wide range, often inconsistent without regular maintenance.

Does a higher ppm value mean stronger taste or more bubbles?

Not necessarily. The fizzing and bubbling you see while the tablet dissolves is part of the hydrogen-generating reaction, but visible bubbles are not a direct measure of ppm. The 12 ppm figure refers to dissolved hydrogen gas verified through lab testing, not what is visible to the eye.
